About
Kaitlin brings a depth of legal knowledge and a genuine commitment to her community to every client she serves. A proud Washburn University alumna, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Juris Doctorate, and Master of Science in Criminal Justice entirely from Washburn, also completing certificates in nonprofit management and family law along the way.
Her legal career reflects a consistent dedication to advocacy. She began as the Protection Order Project Attorney with the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, before taking on leadership roles at Washburn University School of Law and the Washburn University Foundation. Most recently, she served as Director of Development at the Kansas Children's Discovery Center.
Admitted to the Kansas Bar in April 2016 and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States in 2024, Kaitlin's practice focuses on personal injury and criminal defense, areas where she is committed to standing firmly in her clients' corner.
Outside the Courtroom
When she's not practicing law, Kaitlin can be found cheering on her children from the stands at their many activities. She and her husband Marcus share a strong commitment to their community, particularly to programs that help young people learn, grow, and thrive.
That commitment extends to her civic involvement. Kaitlin has served as Board Secretary for Topeka Habitat for Humanity and as Vice President for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Shawnee County and currently serves on the Topeka Advisory Board for Kansas Legal Services.
